In this area our customers are absolutely right if they have chosen NCTE sensors. Straightening machines are applied in the industry for sheet-metal fabrication, to straighten and lead it into the subsequent fabrication steps. The sheet-metal is straightened whereby it passes through two sets of rolls placed above one another. One set (drive unit and gear) contains up to 21 rolls, driven by universal shafts.

Our customers used to be constantly obliged to optimize their fabrication procedure. They had to arrange additionally the elimination of sheet-metal sliding, uneven passing or edging. In the worst case there was the risk of overloading or breakage of the universal shafts and thus production standstill.

All that can be avoided by integration of NCTE sensors on all universal shafts and corresponding coupling components. Once again the robustness of our products against vibrations, bending and other forces can be evidenced. In this case we deliver a perfect secondary sensor design, adapted to the extremely small installation space between the shafts.
